While working on my latest piece, i made a discovery. The inspiration behind the design of this piece was the spiraling shape of the elm leaf. Only after rought shaping did I realize that this table is also 1/4 of a heart. This discovery seamed very aspicious since the patron for the table has devoted so much of his life towards the growth of others and care for the earth.
