This piece of wood is from Hells Gate on Hagerman Pass, Colorado.   I found it on a climbing trip.  I was so inspired by the patina from the sun that I brought the piece down with me.  I decided to use it in a simple sculpture.

This sculpture was built as a response to the Wing sculpture. The flower sculpture was created as a feminine form and set on fire on the full moon.
